What is a Thai Privilege Visa?
The Thailand Privilege Visa, also known by its previous name as the Thailand Elite Visa, is a long-term visa administered by the Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports. It grants members a multiple-entry visa good for 5-20 years or more, a wealth of unmatched perks and benefits, and a more streamlined application process compared to other long-term Thai visas.
Thailand Privilege is an excellent visa option if you plan on staying in Thailand long-term or frequently traveling to the kingdom, and don’t want to worry about hassles with immigration. You get the convenience of the Thai Elite Visa, while also enjoying a considerable selection of VIP benefits.
What are the benefits and advantages of a Thailand Privilege Membership?
One of the biggest differences between the new Thailand Privilege Visa and the old Thai Elite Visa is the new point system, wherein members can redeem points for perks of their choice from a long and diverse list, offering tailored privileges for individual lifestyles. This point system is offered alongside a wide array of additional benefits that require no points and are always available.

What are the 5 tiers of the Thailand Privilege Memberships?
Thailand Privilege memberships are now divided into 5 categories: Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve. The available benefits are generally the same for all tiers, but higher-tier members get more points to spend, more free perks, and longer visa periods. Furthermore, it should be noted that only the Platinum tier and above allow for adding family members to a membership. Click on a membership tier to learn more.

How to get a Thailand Privilege Visa
When applying for a Thailand Privilege Visa, it is recommended to seek the help of a General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA), an organization authorized by Thailand Privilege to provide free assistance with your application. Engaging with a GSSA makes the application process faster and smoother while minimizing the chances of a rejection. The steps of the Thailand Privilege application process are as follows:
- Application Submission:
Contact a GSSA to learn more about the Thailand Privilege program and make an informed decision on which membership to apply for. They will provide a checklist so you can gather all the necessary items, fill out the application form, and pay the application fee. Upon completing the background check, you will receive a letter of approval and instructions on how to proceed with the payment of the full membership fee, which you have 30 days to pay. You have the option to pay via bank transfer, mobile banking, credit/debit card, or even through cryptocurrency, but you may require further assistance from your GSSA depending on your chosen payment method. - Membership Acceptance:
