The Thailand Elite Program is now known by its new name, the Thailand Privilege Program. This visa program provides the Thailand Elite Visa (AKA Privilege Entry Visa), which is a premium tourist visa ideal for those seeking a long-term home and VIP experience in the Land of Smiles.
Thailand Privilege is run by a government-owned subsidiary of the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports and offers an extraordinary combination of long-term residency, premium perks, and incomparable services.
Thailand Privilege Memberships
Thailand Privilege offers four membership tiers, each including unique benefits and a long-term Elite Visa:
- Thailand Privilege Gold Membership costs 900,000 THB and provides a 5-year multiple-entry visa and 20 Thailand Privilege Points (see below) per year.
- Thailand Privilege Platinum Membership costs 1.5 million THB and provides a 5-year multiple-entry visa, renewable for 5 years (10 years total visa validity). Platinum members receive 35 privilege points per year and can add family members for an additional 1 million THB per person.
- Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership costs 2.5 million THB and offers a 5-year multiple-entry visa, renewable twice for a total of 15 years’ visa validity, and 55 privilege points per year. Family members can be added for a fee of 1.5 million THB per person.
- Thailand Privilege Reserve Membership is available by invitation only. This exclusive tier costs 5 million THB, provides four 5-year multiple-entry visas (20 years’ total stay), and grants 120 privilege points per year. Family members can be added for an additional 2 million THB per person.
All membership packages include the Elite Visa, a range of complimentary benefits, and a set of allocated Privilege Points to be redeemed for exclusive perks and experiences.
Thailand Privilege Points System
The Thailand Privilege Points system is designed to provide a more personalized experience in Thailand. Members receive a set of points annually to be redeemed for a wide range of luxury experiences and services. These include 5-star accommodations, spa treatments, golf club passes, financial management guidance, and many other exclusive benefits.
Airport and Immigration Privileges
The Thailand Elite Visa allows for seamless exit and re-entry into Thailand, eliminating the hassle of obtaining a re-entry permit. Additionally, members gain access to exclusive airport lounges and immigration fast-track lanes. Elite visa holders can choose to spend Privilege Points on Elite Personal Assistants (EPAs) who provide airport assistance, and Elite Personal Liaisons (EPLs) who act as immigration concierges assisting with immigration reports and other administrative matters.
Residential Benefits
Thailand Elite Visa holders are entitled to several residential privileges, including the option to open a bank or credit card account, apply for a driver’s license, enroll in health insurance, or purchase property. Members may also choose to spend Privilege Points on the assistance of an EPL who is experienced in assisting with these tasks.
Lifestyle Benefits
Members receive a complimentary one-night stay with Anantara Vacation Club, up to one year of personal accident insurance, and an annual health check (once per member term). Membership also includes access to personal shopping assistance, parking privileges, and discounts at leading shops and restaurants.
How to Apply for a Thai Elite Visa?
Applicants can apply for the Elite Visa from within Thailand or from overseas. They will need a valid passport, a recent passport-style photo, a completed Thailand Privilege Membership form, and a 50,000 THB application fee (deducted from the membership cost).
