About The Thailand Embassy in London
Thailand and the UK have been trading partners for centuries. Even before the two nations signed the Bowring Treaty in 1855, which formally established diplomatic relations, there were economic exchanges in the 17th century. Today, the two countries enjoy warm relations and a strategic partnership, which are facilitated along with consular services at the Thai Embassy in London.
The Embassy provides consular services that include:
- Handling applications for Thai passports
- Issuing Thai national ID cards
- Issuing e-visas for foreign passport holders intending to visit Thailand
- Overseeing Thai civil and family registrations
- Legalization
- Providing protection and support for the Thai community
Please note that the Embassy currently does not accept physical visa applications for Thailand. All applications must be done online through the official Thai e-visa site.
