About The Thailand Embassy In Buenos Aires
On February 2, 1955, the Argentine Republic became the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic ties with the Kingdom of Thailand. Later in the same year on July 29, Thailand opened a diplomatic office in Buenos Aires, which subsequently evolved into the Royal Thai Embassy – Buenos Aires.
The Embassy provides consular services that include:
- Handling applications for Thai passports
- Overseeing Thai civil and family registrations
- Legalization
- Issuing visas for foreign passport holders intending to visit Thailand
