The Thailand Elite Family Visa, or Thailand Privilege Visa, is a long-term tourist visa and an ideal immigration solution if your family is looking for a streamlined process for relocating to Thailand. Thailand Privilege Memberships and Costs

The Thailand Elite Visa is available through enrollment in the Thailand Privilege Membership program. The program offers four membership packages with various visa durations, benefits, and family options. Membership offerings are as follows:

Thailand Privilege Gold Membership

  • Membership Fee: 900,000 THB
  • Visa: One 5-year multiple-entry visa 
  • Thailand Privilege Points: 20 per year
  • Fee to add family members: Not available

Thailand Privilege Platinum Membership

  • Membership Fee: 1.5 million THB
  • Visa: Two 5-year multiple-entry visas (10-year stay)
  • Thailand Privilege Points: 35 per year
  • Fee to add family members: 1 million THB per person

Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership

  • Membership Fee: 2.5 million THB
  • Visa: Three 5-year multiple-entry visas (15-year stay)
  • Thailand Privilege Points: 55 per year
  • Fee to add family members: 1.5 million THB per person 

Thailand Privilege Reserve Membership (invitation only)

  • Membership Fee: 5 million THB 
  • Visa: Four 5-year multiple-entry visas (20-year stay)
  • Thailand Privilege Points: 120 per year
  • Fee to add family members: 2 million THB per person

Thailand Privilege Points can be redeemed for premium benefits such as leisure activities, healthcare services, travel perks, and immigration assistance. If your family members join your membership, you all share a Thailand Privilege Points pool.

The cost to add your child or partner depends on your membership package:

  • Thailand Privilege Platinum Membership – 1 million THB per person
  • Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership – 1.5 million THB per person
  • Thailand Privilege Reserve Membership – 2 million THB per person

How much does it cost to upgrade from an old Thailand Elite package to a Thailand Privilege Membership?

The costs to upgrade your old Elite membership to a Thailand Privilege Membership are as follows.

Thailand Privilege Gold Membership (Upgrade from Elite Easy Access):

  • Annual Fee: 50,000 THB
  • Validity: Remaining period of Elite Easy Access membership

Thailand Privilege Platinum Membership (Upgrade from Elite Privilege Access, Elite Family Alternative, or Elite Superiority Extension):

  • One-time Fee: 100,000 THB
  • Annual Fee: 75,000 THB
  • Validity: Remaining validity of previous Elite membership

Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership (Upgrade from Elite Ultimate Privilege):

  • One-time Fee: 100,000 THB
  • Annual Fee: 50,000 THB
  • Validity: Remaining validity of previous Elite membership

Thailand Privilege Reserve Membership (Upgrade by invitation only from any Elite package):

  • One-time Fee: 100,000 THB
  • Annual Fee:
    • 250,000 THB (Elite Family Alternative)
    • 225,000 THB (All other Elite packages)
  • Validity:
    • 5 to 10-year Elite packages: 15 years plus remaining Elite package validity
    • 20-year Elite packages: Remaining Elite validity

Is there an age requirement for the Thailand Elite Visa?

There is no age limit to apply for the Thailand Elite Visa. Applicants, including children, of any age can hold their own Privilege Membership or apply to join a family member.

What family members are eligible to join my membership?

All immediate family members are eligible to apply to join your membership, including your children, spouse, and parents. 

What documents do I need to prove a family relationship?

You will need to provide birth certificates for all applying children and your marriage certificate if applying with your spouse.

Is there a limit to how many family members can join my membership?

There is no limit on how many family members can join your membership. However, you will need to demonstrate a recognized familial relationship for each member. 

Does my child need a visa to stay in Thailand?

Yes, all foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter and remain in Thailand. However, immigration authorities will not record overstay history for children under 14 years old.  

Should I apply for a Thailand Elite Visa if my child is a student in Thailand?

If your child is attending school in Thailand, you have three main visa options:

  1. Thailand Elite Visa for yourself and your child
  2. Education Visa for your child and a Thailand Elite Visa for yourself
  3. Education Visa for your child and a Non-Immigrant Guardian Visa for yourself
