Is a Buddhist wedding legal?

I want to marry my girlfriend, but my fiancee wants a Buddhist wedding. How can I get married legally?

Please know that marriage registration in Thailand may differ if being done through a ceremony or legal registration at the district office or Amphur. If you wish the marriage to be legally binding, then you need to go through the process of the legal marriage registration. Please take note that Buddhist wedding or such ceremonies are just forms of celebration and not a legal marriage that could prove that you are both legally married in Thailand.
