How to Apply for the Certificate of Entry (COE)?
Step 1: Visit the COE online portal/website and register by filling in your details, and upload supporting documents such as a copy of passport, copy of the valid visa, and COVID-19 travel insurance. The Embassy will screen and pre-approve the applicants who meet the requirements. Please check the status of your application after 1-3 working days.
Step 2: The applicants can check their status online if they have been pre-approved. They will be contacted by email if the Embassy requires more documents. The applicants who are pre-approved passengers can then buy flight tickets and book their ASQ or SHA+ hotels. Copy of the flight ticket and the ASQ hotel or SHA+ Hotel booking confirmation has to be uploaded to get the COE. Please check the status of your application after 1-3 working days.
Step 3: When the COE has been approved, the applicants can check their status online and click to download their COE.
How long does it take to obtain the COE?
It is strongly recommended that the applicant spares at least 15 working days before the travel date to apply for the COE. If you do not have a valid visa, it is recommended to secure your visa before applying for the COE.
What is the validity of the COE?
The Certificate of Entry is valid only for the intended date of travel. The COE will specifically state your name, passport details, flight date of departure and arrival, flight number, and the name of your ASQ hotel. In case, you need to postpone your trip or change the details of your flight, you need to make a new application for the COE to obtain a new certificate with the new flight details or ASQ hotel details.
What do you have to do after receiving the COE?
Once you have received your COE, you have to prepare the following documents for your trip to Thailand. It will be presented to the airline before departure:
- Certificate of Entry (COE)
- Valid visa in your passport
- Declaration Form
- Medical Certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected. The COVID test must be by the RT-PCR method, the test must be conducted within 72 hours before departure. Some airlines do not accept home kit tests so please check specific requirements with the airlines you are traveling with.
- Copy of Travel insurance policy that covers COVID and no less than 50,000 USD. The policy must cover the whole duration of your stay or the duration of your visa. Please print the insurance certificate and all pages of the terms and conditions on the COVID-19 coverage and medical benefits. You may be refused to board the flight if you could not show that the insurance meets this requirement.
- Copy of confirmed ASQ hotel booking or SHA+ Hotel Booking
- Flight itinerary
- T8 Form
- You must download “Thailand Plus” Application on your mobile phone

Hi , l would like to ask about quarantine rules in Bangkok, because l am fully vaccine and after 2. dose before my flight waitEd 15 days so still do l need 14 days quarantine
Dear Esra,
Yes, vaccinated or not vaccinated, if your flight arrives in Bangkok, you are required to under quarantine for 15 days. Please check this page for more information:
https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/how-to-travel-to-thailand-in-2021
Thank you.
Hi.
I have already my coe and I prepaid the pcr tests
Now I decided to cancel the hotel and to take another hotel sha + for my stay for same dates, same flight
1/ should I ask a new coe?
2/ can I keep my pcr tests prepaid in the previous hotel or I have to cancel and pay the pcr tests again through the new hotel ?
Dear Maria,
Yes, you need to call the Thai Embassy and ask them to cancel your COE and you will be able to update the SHA+ hotel in the online portal.
You can ask the hotel to contact the clinic that they booked for the COVID test about the change of your hotel.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
We completed the final part of our approval on Tuesday 20th July which was Eid in the Middle East where we live. We had an email confirmation of the flights and hotel being received but nothing yet in terms of the coe being issued. We travel on 10 august so we have time but I’ve tried calling the embassy and it just gets cut off. The first part of the approvals came back within 2 days but even taking Eid into consideration this is now 4 days. Any advice?
Dear Debbie,
Good day.
If you are applying through Thai Consulate Dubai, the issuance of the COE (final approval) is normally within 2 to 3 working days before your flight.
Thank you.
what is difference between SHA and SHA +?
I think I booked SHA
Dear Charlie,
Good day.
For the Phuket Sandbox it has to be SHA+ Hotel for the first 14 nights. SHA+ means, most of the employees in the hotel are vaccinated already.
Thank you.
My son (age 24) is a dual UK/US citizen and he will be travelling from London to Phuket under the sandbox programme.
He will need to apply for COE in London because that’s where his flight originates but his vaccines were done in the US and so he has a US CDC vaccine record card (in the US the federal government doesn’t issue. digital COVID vaccine certificates like in the UK and EU).
Is the US CDC vaccine record card likely to be a problem with the London embassy?
Dear Charlie,
Good day.
Yes, that is alright. I have applied for COE at the Thai Embassy in London for a British national who got vaccinated in China and it was approved.
Thank you.
Hi – I am having the same problem as Tina (i.e. in filling out the CoE application for my children it will not let me submit the application without filling in what vaccine they have had – but they are under 18 years old so they don’t have to have a vaccine to travel). Should I just put in details of my vaccine? Many thanks for your help.
Dear Peter,
Good day.
This is really weird. I did not encounter this problem. Perhaps it depends on the country where you applied for the COE. You just really have to leave it blank or call the Thai embassy in case they have a solution for it.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
We are thinking about to fly to Phuket from Germany to stay there for around 1.5 weeks.
We have not started our COE process yet. We would like to start our travel by the end of this month. Now we are just worried if we can get the approval of the COE within this time frame.
We don’t want to book flights for 4 persons and a hotel stay and then not being allowed to enter the country without the approved COE. Please let me know if this last minute trip is still possible. My wife and I are fully vaccinated. Our kids are 4 years old and therefore not vaccinated. We are German residents and stayed in Germany for more then 21 days. Thanks in advance for your help.
Dear Frank,
Good day.
The normal application for the COE in Frankfurt is 1 week. For Berlin, it could be 1,5 weeks. So technically you still have plenty of time to apply for the COE.
Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
On the COE for each of my children it asks what vaccine they have had. Being that they are both under 18yrs of age they don’t have to have a vaccine to travel. How do I complete the COE process without putting in vaccine details for them?
Dear Tina,
Good day.
I am not sure why you are having this problem. I have applied for a COE for children and I did not encounter this problem.
Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
Hello,
I did my COE right now and I have a work permit
now I will do my children’s COE application
they are 7-8 year old and they have an education visa
what should I pick as their: “Types of permitted persons”
8- Spouses or Children of work permit holders
or
9 – Students
9 – Students (Parent/Guardians)
11 (ED) – Studying, training or do internship
or attending religious activities in Thailand
(ED)
thank you!
** when I picked 11(ED) I couldn’t attach their visa
Dear Marcus,
Good day.
If they have a Non O visa as your dependant, you can choose number 8.
If they have their own Non ED visa, you can choose number 9 Students.
Please make sure that you attached the visa and the letter of confirmation from the school and do not forget to click the Upward arrow when you attach the files.
Thank you.
Hello All,
Dumb question here: I want to apply for COEs for me and my family. All over this website it says apply via the COE online portal. Where is the link to the darn portal? What is the website address to complete my COEs online and upload docs? Apologies if that is obvious but I just do not see it!
Thanks,
SD
Dear Steven,
Good day.
You may visit https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/
Thank you.
Hello Rex,
I hope you are well.
I am in the process of finalizing my COE approval (flight & Hotel info) but now have to change the dates. Can I do that or I have to start a new one?
Thank you in advance and have a great day!
Dear Greg,
Good day.
If you have been pre-approved but you did not confirm your flight and hotels yet, you can still make changes. You do not need to start a new application since you will not be allowed to make a new one.
Thank you.
Hi
I am arriving from American and my GF is arriving from the Philippines. Which CEO do we need to be tourists?
On this page
https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true
There is only on choice for both of us for “Tourist” and that is an STV Visa.
But she has been to the embassy in Manila twice and they keep telling her she does not need an STV Visa. Just apply for a COE.
Can you please help? It is all so confusing.
Which COE does an American need?
Which COE does a Filapina need?
Thank you so much for the reply and your help
Dear John,
Good day.
Both of you can choose 11-Visa Exemption category of permitted persons.
Thank you.
why do I have to waste time and submit an air ticket as part of the COE? Cannot the Thai immigration officer verify that I have arrived?
Dear Jim,
So that they can verify that you are coming to Thailand based on the category you chose when you apply for COE and for them to know which one with earlier travel date they can prioritise in checking and issuing the COE, especially if you are going to avail the Phuket Sandbox.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
Impossible to upload my documents into my COE application form, I’ve tried over 10 times… is there an issue with the system? Is there another way to apply for COE. Thanks
Dear Laurence,
Good day.
Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:

Hallo,
I write from Italy. I have been pre-approved for the COE certificate so I am trying to complete the registration. Yesterday I forgot to upload a document (SHA Plus booking Authenticator) therefore today I received an e-mail asking me to add it to my request.
I have been trying for many hours to add that document on the page https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/upfileconfirm but I always get the same error message: “Incorrect date format.”.
Could you please help me?
thank you
Dear Gustavo,
I never had this problem. Maybe you have a problem with the spacing of your dates. Just make sure to check the dates and sometimes you would have a problem with the year also.
Thank you.
Just wondering, is you incorrect date format issue solve? I am having the issue incorrect date format.
Dear Tin,
What you can do is to change from “return” to “One Way” and update the page or click submit. After that, there will be an error again and then you change it again from “one way” to “return” and you may edit the field and type the correct return date.
Thank you.
I checked like 10000000 times plus, in order to enter the date you only have to digit the nubers and not the spacing, the system puts the spaceing. if you enter 17072021 it automatically writes 17-07-2021 so there is not much I can do.
Dear Gustavo,
What you can do is to change from “return” to “One Way” and update the page or click submit. After that, there will be an error again and, you change it again from “one way” to “return” and you may edit the field and type the correct return date.
Thank you.
I have been pre-aproved to for the COE, when I try to save the new updated data I always get a “Incorrect date format.” error message but I can’t fix it.
Dear Freddi,
Just in that last hour, I submitted 3 applications for the COE and I did not have this problem. Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
I reside in Thailand, US citizen married to a Thai with yellow book and re-entry permit. Marriage visa.
Do I need a COE if I’m going back to the US for the shots and flying back to Phuket?
Mike
Dear Michael,
Yes, you need a COE to re-enter Thailand from the US. Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:

I’m having hard time getting COE completed I’ve tried 8 times and I fly 7/20.can I arrive with all documents to Thailand with out coe as I’ve been approved Shab by hotel already
Dear Kenneth,
I am not sure why are you having problems. I have made more than 10 applications today for COE from different Thai Embassies and Consulates. Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
Hello Rex,
I have a similar problem like Nick:
My COE is pre approved too. I have uploaded all required dokuments.
When I press save, I get “Incorrect date format”. There are only two date fields on the page “Date of Departure” and “Date of Arrival”. Both are dd.mm.yyyy. In my case 16-07-2021 and 17-07-2021. I can’t see what is wrong.
Best Regards
Wolfgang
Dear Wolfgang,

Thank you.
I have a u.s. passport but have been living in Canada since the beginning of the pandemic- will I submit my coe to a u.s thai consulate or a Canadian Thai consulate ?
Dear Ann,
You will apply for the COE in the country where you will be taking your flight. If your flight leaves from Canada, you will apply through the Thai Embassy in Ottawa or Consulate in Vancouver. Should you require any assistance in applying for the COE or certificate of entry, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
Hello Rex
I have applied for COE and be pre approved.
I have now uploaded the Shaba certificate and covid test payment receipt but when I press save I just get “Database Exception (#22007) “internal server error occured”
I have tried for about 1 and half hours and it keeps happening.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Dear Nick,
Good day.
You can try it again by restarting your computer. It could be that your connection is not stable or the files are too big to upload.
Thank you.
Hello again Rex
Thanks for your previous reply. I have tried reducing file size, all files below 250kb.
I have restarted pc and also tried using the phone.
Everything I do I get the same error message. Database exception (#22007) internal server error.
It appears to be an issue with the website.
Anyway I can report this issue? I’ve tried calling the embassy but its constantly line busy.
I’m running out of time
Thanks in advance
Dear Nick,
Good day.
This is weird. I have uploaded files for 8 applications today and there was no problem. I will send you an email and you can send to me the files and 6-digit code.
Thank you.
Hello Rex!
Do we require the given covid insurance on this website, AXA, or can we use our own, for example Allianz?
Best regards, Kajsa
Dear Kajsa,
Good day.
You are allowed to use another insurance provider as long as the certificate that you will submit for the COE will state the date of validity, the amount of 100,000 USD coverage and COVID 19 medical expenses. AXA Insurance on this page has been used by a lot of travelers and they have never had any problem during the COE application.
Thank you.
HI. My flight was canceled 18 hours before and rescheduled for 8 days later. I know I have to get a new PCR test nut do I have to change the COE date and if so how do I do it? Thanks
Dear Tommy,
Yes you need to apply for a new COE. You have to options to get a new COE:
1. Ask the embassy to reject the current COE application and update your travel details.
2. You can let the COE expire and apply for a new one. Please know that your approved COE will only be automatically cancelled at midnight after your original flight arrived in Thailand.
Thank you.
Hi Rex, I have booked an SHA+ hotel for 14 nights and they will arrange the PCR tests. The hotel is not due to be paid until arrival (through Booking.com) and is refundable. Do I need to pay in full in advance for COE or is the booking sufficient?
Many thanks
Dear Oli,
Good day.
The Thai Embassy and Consulate specifically require the SHABA Confirmation of your SHA+ Hotel. I am not sure how do you get that; whether you need to pay some parts or it or not. I recommend for you to call your hotel and ask them how to get the SHABA certification.
Thank you.
My husband applied for COE since last Tuesday but there is no news, is it normal?
Dear Panida,
Yes, it is not normal. He should have at least receive an email whether it was rejected on the first stage or pre-approved.
He can call the Thai Embassy for more details using the 6-digit reference number.
Thank you.
Hi Rex, just have a few question. 1st, we want to know how long does it usually take for the final approval of COE because We are flying on the 10th. 2nd, does my son need rt pcr test prior to flying. He is 1yr 10 months. Thank you.
Dear Rachel,
Good day.
The processing time for the COE is at least 3 working days. Right now due to the fact the Phuket Sandbox has only started, I recommend to give it at least 5 business days.
Children below 18 years of age who are unvaccinated will be required an RT-PCR COVID test before the trip. As for the COVID test while staying in Phuket, I recommend for you to check with your SHA+ Hotel.
Thank you.
Hello,
I am currently living in Phuket. I will travel to USA for several months. I can obtain a certificate of residency before leaving. Upon returning directly to Phuket may I quarantine in my residence?
Dear Thomas,
Good day.
I cannot predict the future. As of today’s regulation, you must stay in an SHA+ hotel for 14 nights before you can stay in your residence and you will be monitored. If you will travel back to Phuket in January 2022, maybe there will be a different regulation. Maybe it will be free to stay anywhere or it might be back to quarantine for 14 days in a hotel room. I totally do not know.
Thank you.
Hi, Rex
I’m from the USA. My COE has been denied given that I did not apply for Phuket and did not have the confirmation of my COVID test during my 14 days stay in Phuket – I submitted the application on June 28. I now have edited my information to choose Phuket and uploaded a confirmation about COVID test 3 times in the amount of 8000 baht and I received this confirmation from the hotel.
My question to you is that I uploaded the c
COVID test confirmation through the button that said “edit my personal information” as this is the only one option that allows me to update and upload the document ( I uploaded the COVID test confirmation under “other documents” click. It has been about 24 hours and I have not received any information and when I clicked to check my status, it said “under approval”.
I tried to uploaded my COVID test confirmation under “edit your flight” but when clicked on it is said the same thing,
I will be traveling to Phuket on a July 7 and tried to call the consulate in Chicago and have no luck. I’m freaking out!
How long should I wait to receive my COE.
Thank you so much.
Dear Sam,
Good day.
Yes, you did the right thing. You are still on the first step of the process, you can only edit the yellow button (Edit Personal Information). You will only be able to edit the red button once you have received the next email staying that your application has been pre-approved. Please do not be confused with the subject line of the email and the content of the email. They had a mistake on that. If you do not get a pre-approval before July 2nd, you can call the Thai Consulate. I know the first email you got says “pre-approved” in the subject line but actually it says “received the registration” in the content of the email.
Thank you.
Hi Rex! I am wondering about the requirements to enter Phuket with the sandbox program, one of them says that “travelers must come from low/medium risk countries and must stay in the countries at least 21 consecutive days prior to departure”. If I travel from Taiwan (for a month) to the states (for 14 days), and then fly to Phuket, will I meet the requirement? I understand Taiwan and the USA should be considered low-medium risk countries, but I am not sure if 14 days in the states will be a problem. Thank you very much!
Dear Ali,
Good day.
The requirement is correct. You must be in a low or medium risk country or countries in the last 21 days. It did not say you must be in one country in the past 21 days. So if you are in Taiwan and USA in the past 21 days, you are qualified to apply for COE under Phuket Sandbox.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
My flight to Phuket has an overnight layover in Qatar (low-risk country). Will I be able to leave the airport to stay a night in a hotel in Doha before continuing on to Phuket? Or must I remain in the airport (and not get my passport stamped in Qatar)?
Thanks,
Daniel
Dear Daniel,
Good day.
I would recommend for you to check with Qatar airlines. You might be allowed to stay in a hotel within the international area of the airport.
Thank you.
Hi ,
My American husband who is planning to come here in Thailand was told by the airline rep that he doesn’t need to have COE . Is this true ?
He’s not vaccinated yet and he plan’s to stay here for just a month.
Dear Rosie,
Good day.
The COE or Certificate of Entry is required for all travellers to Thailand whether Thai national or foreigner. He can apply for the COE under visa exemption.
If you need assistance, please check this page:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
Hello My COE has been pending for almost two weeks and I cannot get in touch with anyone.
Dear Mercedes,
Good day.
Which Thai Embassy or Consulate did you submit the application? What you can do is to call them and give them your 6-digit reference number to follow-up your application.
Thank you.
Good Day!
Just wanna ask if they allow tourist from Philippines. Do they approve COE from high risk? My fiance and I we’re planning to meet in Phuket but weren’t sure if they allow Filipinos or approve COE for Filipino tourist. Thank you!
Dear Kayne,
Good day.
The Thai Embassy in Manila is not allowed to issue a COE for Phuket Sandbox. The Thai Embassy in Manila can only issue a normal COE. The normal COE is issued if the applicant will enter Bangkok and quarantine for 14 days.
Thank you.
Thank you for your response. In case we’re going to Bangkok and quarantine for 14 days, Are we then allowed to enter Phuket after that or we are just allowed to stay in Bangkok?
Dear Kayne,
Good day.
After you have been quarantine for 14 days in Bangkok, yes, you will be allowed to enter Phuket as long as you have a COVID 19 test result from the quarantine hotel in Bangkok.
Thank you.
I have submitted all the info and documents on Friday , I’m suppose to leave on Friday the 2nd to New York and on the 3rd at 1 AM I have a flight to Phuket. I’m stressed . Please let me know ASAP.. Thank you
Dear Lili,
Good day.
What you can do is to call them and give them your 6-digit reference number to follow-up your application.
Thank you.
Can F visa/ diplomatic visa holder benefit from the Phuket Sandbox scheme ?
Dear Gaelle,
Good day.
In the recent guidelines, the Phuket Sandbox is open to travellers from abroad. Vaccinated travellers from low to medium risk listed countries. It doesn’t mention any visa category or nationality.
Thank you.
I’m vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson. ( 1 jab)
Is it ok to get approval entrance for phuket sandbox ? .
i read that some ppl has been denied cause thai embassy required 2 jab ..
thank you
Dear Alex,
Good day.
I recently uploaded a Vaccination card with Johnson & Johnson and it has been accepted by the system.
Thank you.
Hello how long will the application take. I can send you all the information today.
Dear Charles,
Good day.
It really depends on your location and the Thai Embassy or Consulate that you are submitting the application. I would recommend to give it 5 business days to be on the safe side.
Thank you.
Hi Guys, I’m looking to visit Phuket for 3 weeks in August. My wife and I have receive both vaccinations a few weeks ago. My concern is my 8 year old daughter who is unable to receive Covid vaccinations. I read on one of you pages that entry is OK for children 6 or younger. what will that mean for our daughter as far as quarantine and the Phuket Sandbox is concerned?
Also, can you please confirm that we each need to register for a COE application or is it one for the family?
Dear Andrew,
Good day.
It has been collectively stated that children under 18 years of age who are unvaccinated must travel with parents/guardians who are vaccinated. Both children and parents/guardian must have an RT-PCR COVID 19 test before traveling to Thailand. Yes, each person must apply for your individual COE since you have different names and passport numbers.
Thank you.
Still very confused. We are traveling from USA to Bangkok Airport and flying in to Phuket July 9-July 16 . Are we required to quarantine????
Dear Linda,
Good day.
Yes, you are required to quarantine. The COE for Phuket Sandbox specifically state that your port of entry is Phuket (HKT) and not BKK.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
My Non B visa application is still processing. Do I need to wait until my visa is approved to submit my COE application?
Thank you
Dear Sarah,
Yes, you need to wait until you have a photo or scanned copy of your Non B visa before you apply for the COE.
Thank you.
Hi,
I am planning to start work in Thailand and have applied for a Category B Visa. I Will apply for COE once I get my VISA. My question is about how to go about a Dependent VISA – Category O – for my dad. What kind of COE applies to him.
Please assist.
Dear Noel,
Good day.
Your dad might not be able to get a Non Immigrant O visa as your dependant and he won’t get a COE for that also. It is better to just get a Non Immigrant O visa as retiree or he can come as tourist and change his visa within Thailand.
Thank you.
Hello!
I have plans to visit Phuket from July the 16th to the 22nd (No plans to visit any other province outside).
What the best way to get help and assure that my CoE will be approved in a timely manner?
Dear Alex,
Good day.
For the best help, I can personally help you. Please check this page for our services:
https://www.siam-legal.com/other-services/certificate-of-entry-thailand.php
Thank you.
My COE got rejected due to “Last port is not correct”
I can’t seem to edit any information on the website. I tried contacting them, but no response. My flight back is July 15 so I don’t want to wait until the very last minute to get my COE.
What should I do next?
Dear Mariel,
You click on the the red button and EDIT/CONFIRM TRAVEL and provide the correct information.
Thank you.
Hi,
After receiving my COE, it says I need to print the medical certificate AND all pages of the terms and conditions on the Covid-19 coverage.
The insurance policy is 28 pages long, am I required to print all 28 pages?
Or is it enough to print the summary of benefits of the coverage?
Dear Christilia,
If you have a one page document that states the important information such as your name, the start and end date, COVID 19 coverage and 100,000 USD or 3.5 Million THB coverage, then you do not need to print the 28-page policy wording. You can check this page for the sample certificate:

Thank you.
Hello.

Dear REX,
i am flying from Israel (vaccinated) at 01.07 July
i can not find the option for Sandbox program (tourist visa) in the COE form on the website.
what should i do ?
Dear Michael,
Good day.
When you go to the COE application portal, you need to choose the country, the name of the embassy and the category of the visa which is 11 Medium Term Visitor- Visa Exemption. After that, on the next page, you can answer YES, in the question: Are you entering Thailand on Sandbox Program? and then you also choose the city: Phuket.
Thank you.
1) travel assurance must be 30 days, if i stay there 10 days?
2) i dont find hotel in kata beach. Is Sugar marine-fashion- approved?
Dear Mario,
Good day.
1. The insurance companies, they do not sell 10-day travel insurance. The shortest COVID insurance that they sell is 30 days.
2. Yes, Sugar Marina Resort Fashion is an SHA+ Hotel.
Thank you.
I gained my COE but my flight was changed. I resubmitted all my documents but have had no response. What can you recommend I do?
Dear Jules,
Good day.
When you re-applied, did you get a new COE reference code? If you have a new reference code, you may call the Thai Embassy and follow up the application.
Or did it say “you are already registered”? If you got the message that says “you are already registered”, you can call the Thai embassy and ask them to reject the application and edit the flight details or they can delete your application and you can apply for a new COE.
Thank you.
Is one required to hold a COE visa if i already hold a O visa and flying on a commercial flight?
Dear Lupe,
Good day.
Yes, all people coming to Thailand are required to have COE. Thai nationals, they need COE. Foreigners, they need to get a COE. Whether you arrive in Bangkok or Phuket, you must have a COE and you apply for it at the Thai Embassy before coming to Thailand.
Thank you.
Dear Rex
How Many RT-PCR do I have to take for a 14 days stay in Phuket?
Thank you
Dear Amadeo,
Good day.
First one is during arrival at the airport. Second one is on Day 6/7. Third one is on Day 13/14. Just before you leave Phuket for other parts of Thailand. If you are staying less than 14 days, then you do not need to do that third test unless it is required for the next country you are visiting.
Thank you.
Hi rex,
I can’t find my comment so i post a new one.
I called the consulate of the netherlands and they told me that the sandbox program isn’t approved for the netherlands so they can’t approve my coe.
But when i look to the list of countries i can see the netherlands.
So what to do now.
Dear Valentino,
As of today, when I checked the COE application portal, the Thai Embassy in The Hague can issue a normal COE and they can also issue a Phuket Sandbox COE.
Thank you.
Hi,
I am from India, I have got my Thai visa but still waiting for the COE. Is there any information regarding COE for Indians to enter Thailand. Please update me the details
Dear Ruban,
Good day.
The Thai Embassy and Consulates in India has suspended the issuance of COE until further notice.
Thank you.
Hi Rex,
My flight is on the 2nd of July and i havent received the COE yet or a status of my application. How do I followup with the application? Today is the 28th and I would need to get myself tested in soon if i am to travel by the 2nd. Im afraid ticket, hotel and insurance expenses will be wasted.
Dear Reymon,
Good day.
If you have the 6-digit COE code, please call the Thai Embassy or Consulate and follow-up your application.
Thank you.
I changed my hotel information after I upload it to the second part of COE, now my application is under consideration, how can I reupload the hotel info?
Dear Chrissy,
Good day.
If the result is REJECTED, you can upload the new hotel information. If the result is APPROVED, you must call the Thai Embassy and ask to reject the application so that you can upload the new hotel information.
Thank you.
I am having the same issue. My COE application was accepted before June 28, when the Phuket Sandbox option was finally added. The COE now shows ASQ, but I booked SHA+. Thai Embassy in Athens says they cannot change my application. Not sure what to do now. My flight is on Saturday.
Dear Michael,
You can ask the Thai Embassy to reject your COE and after that, you can edit your personal information and click on YES for Phuket Sandbox, upload the proof of vaccination, supporting documents such as flight, bank statement and SHA+ reservation and insurance. After that, you can Edit/Confirm your travel by providing the flight and SHA+ hotel confirmation.
Thank you.
I am flying to Thailand from China, my covid test result will be in Chinese. Will this be accepted in Thailand?
Dear Paul,
The COVID test result must have English translation.
Thank you.
Hi!
After first part of COE confirmed, is it possible to change the hotel and tickets in the second part of the COE?
Thank you
Dear Irina,
Good day.
Yes, it is still possible to provide a different flight details and ASQ information after you have been pre-approved.
Thank you.
Hi,
what needs to be indicated in the section ‘Contact details in Thailand’? Do you need to indicate the hotel’s contact details? After confirming the first part of COE, is it possible to change the hotel?
Thank you
Dear Irina,
You can use the contact details of your ASQ Hotel. You may change it on the second stage of the application.
Thank you.

Thank you.
Hello,
If my COE applicaiton was rejected because one of the document was not approved (first vaccin certificate), can i add the correct document or do i have to start the application over ?
Thank you for your help !
Dear Eleonore,
Good day.
You can check the Yellow button “Edit Personal Information” and provide the proper document or the document that was required and save or submit it again.
Thank you.
Hi there,
It’s my first time registering a COE, do I have to register each of my family members or is it 1 COE per family? Also, is the $100,000 insurance policy per person or per family?
Hoping for answers! Thanks,
Dear Mara,
Good day.
Yes, it is one COE per person and one COVID insurance per person also. You can use this link for the COVID insurance:
https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/axa-covid-19-insurance-for-foreigners
Thank you.
Hi, how can I apply for the COE with SHA+ hotel? the COE requires a booking confirmation for an ASQ/ALQ hotel. I am flying to Phuket on 19.7 and therefore know that I only need to book a SHA+ hotel.
Dear Chris,
Good day.
The COE application is not open yet for Phuket Sandbox. The list of SHA+ hotels has not been integrated in the system. Please wait until end of this week for any update.
Thank you.
Hi,
I’m scheduled to start traveling to Thailand in 3.5 days. I’ve haven’t receive my COE yet. My COE # received after I submitted required documents is: 182304
Thank you for your assistance.
Dear Talmadge,
Good day.
I have sent you an email and you may just reply to that email so that I can assist you with the application.
Thank you.
If my COE is for the 21st of June and I arrive on the 22nd of June, will my COE still be valid?
Dear Justin,
Good day.
If your flight was delayed or cancelled, you can use the same COE as per Remarks Number 3 of your COE.
Thank you.
Hi, I’m German and like to use the Visa Exemption. I will start from China because I’m resident in CN. The COE applications has no choice for exemption. Btw., the vaccination certificate don’t accept the system too. Always will removed. What can I do?
Dear Dennis,
Good day.
I checked the website and online application right now, I see that Visa Exemption is listed on the categories for COE application. Perhaps you need to click the upward arrow to upload the file.
Thank you.
Hello Dear Rex!
As part of COE requirements I see:
-Copy of the STV, non-immigrant visa, or extension of stay with a re-entry permit
What does that mean? for USA citizen and Israel citizen – is that criteria needed?
Thank you!
Dear Yasmin,
Good day.
You can choose the category: Visa Exemption to apply for the COE or Certificate of Entry. You are entitled to receive 45 days permit to stay at the airport in Thailand.
Thank you.
Dear Rex,
If I’m American citizen than this criteria doesn’t apply to me? Only to the countries who needs visa?
Thank you,
Jasmine
Dear Jasmine,
Good day.
The COE is required for Thais and foreigners entering Thailand. For US citizens, you can apply for COE under visa exemption category. To purchase insurance for your COE application, please check this link:
https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/axa-covid-19-insurance-for-foreigners
Thank you.
Helo good morning I would like to ask regarding the COE? My Application for COE is been rejected due to I misunderstood about the visa, I should apply for exemption visa.. I already sent it back but no replied yet. I’ve been trying so hard to call the thai embassy in chicago many times but nothing. I hope someone can help me with this my ticket and everything was set up in thailand.. i leave on june 29,2021 and still nothing heard about my application for COE.
Dear David,
Good day.
You can go to the COE website and click on Edit Personal Information. Once you are on the next page, you can change the visa category on the top most part of the page. You can change it to Visa Exemption and then resubmit the application.
Thank you.
Thai nations who work in Malaysia would like to return to their home country, what should they do? They are holding valid passport & valid/ expired Work Permit. Thank You.
Dear Vivi,
Good day.
They need to apply for the COE or certificate of entry. The process takes 2 to 3 days. They need flight to Thailand, ASQ Hotel reservation and COVID test before the flight.
Thank you.
Is COE required even if non immigrant visa holder already has a reentry stamped on my passport visa before leaving Thailand?
Dear Harris,
Good day.
The COE is even required for Thai nationals returning to Thailand, so, in your case, yes, you are required to obtain a COE from a Thai Embassy before you fly back to Thailand. You can apply for COE under the Non Immigrant category.
Thank you.
I’ve set up with a quarantine hotel in Bangkok and they keep asking about the COE. From what I understand, I don’t need a COE if I am there for less than 30 days. Do you need a COE if you are there less than 30 days? Also, I noticed your comment about the RT-PCR covid test. Are you sure that PCR covid test is not good enough to fly to Thailand?
Dear Richard,
Good day.
The COE is required for ALL people entering Thailand. Please inform the quarantine hotel that you need to have the ASQ Hotel confirmation letter in order to get a COE or Certificate of Entry. Currently, the Visa Exemption program allows you to stay for 45 days. Here are what you need to get the COE: COVID 19 Insurance, ASQ Hotel Booking and Flight to and from Thailand. The RT-PCR COVID test will be needed also prior to your trip to Thailand.
Thank you.
I just read an update that says that non-Thais visiting for the Phuket Sandbox (that fully meet the requirements), that do NOT wish to visit other provinces have NO MINIUM stay at an SHA approved hotel. This is interesting wording so my interpretation is that visitors ARE NOT required to stay at an SHA hotel at all?
However if we are to stay at an SHA hotel can we book on a booking site (Expedia, etc) or do we have to book a “package” with a tour operator?
Dear Shelton,
Good day.
Foreigners and Thais can stay in Phuket without quarantine. If they wish to travel to other parts of Thailand they must stay at least 14 days in Phuket. If they wish to stay less than 14 days, they must exit Phuket to another international destination. They can only stay in over 400 hotels with SHA+ accreditation in Phuket.
Thank you.
There are more than 0ne RT-PCR tests. Exactly which one do I have to take for entry into Thailand? Please let me know.
Dear Tim,
Good day.
I am not a doctor so I cannot answer which one. The only requirement is RT-PCR COVID 19 test. If your test is only PCR COVID test, the airline may not allow you to board the flight.
Thank you.
Hello, I plan to HAVE a short visit on 21/7 to Phuket for five days as part of the well-known Sandbox program for vaccinated tourists. I was asked to apply for a COE, I attached all the relevant documents. however I was required to register ASQ. but vaccinated tourists are exempt from quarantine ,so i can not complete the application. I will ask for your help, thanks, my registration number is 310567.
Dear Moshe,
Good day.
The current COE website was not updated for the Phuket Sandbox to technically the Phuket Sandbox is not ready. You can apply for the COE when the system has been updated because instead of ASQ Hotel, you need to book an SHA+ accredited hotel for at leats 7 days. There is no list of these hotels just yet so please, please patiently wait for the updates and do not make any plans. There will also be list of flights to Phuket from Dubai, Doha and Singapore. You cannot book a flight that will stop in Bangkok. The list of hotels and the system for COE may be updated in the next 3 weeks.
Thank you.
Does it matter which embassy you choose for COE? I am a UK citizen but currently in France. I will fly from France to Thailand. Can I request COE from the French embassy, or do I have to go via the UK embassy even though I am not in the country?
Best Regards
Dear James,
Good day.
You must apply for the COE in France because your flight will depart from France. You must apply at Thai Embassy in Paris.
Thank you.
As for the Phuket Sandbox program, I note that there are approved flights such as Doha-Phuket on Qatar Airways. If one received a COE from the USA, for example, would they be allowed to travel via Doha (no stopover; just transit) on the Doha-Phuket flight?
Dear James,
Good day.
Yes, you can travel US-Doha-Phuket. Your COE will state the flight numbers for all legs of the trip.
Thank you.
I filled out my COE application and you sent me an email and said you rejected my application because of an incorrect category. My code is 150768. I checked non o for my retirement visa which is what I have, why is that the wrong category? Please let me know what I did wrong so I can fix it.
Thank you,
Ralph Strean
1 (503) 358-7313
Dear Ralph,
Good day.
If you have a retirement visa under category O, you choose 11 Long Stay (Non O). If you have a retirement visa under category OA, you choose 11 Long stay (Non OA).
If your retirement visa was issued in Thailand, it is likely to be Non O.
Thank you.
Dear Rex,
I have a COE approved for the 4th of June. I changed my flight to the 11th of June. Do I need to update my COE?
I have tried to do it on the embassy website. When I try to edit (confirm/edit travel – IN RED) I just have a message mentioning that my COE is approved. There isn’t an option to edit the traveling date. Should I call the embassy to edit the form! Or else?
Dear Steve,
Good day.
You need to call the Thai Embassy or Consulate. You can ask them to reject the COE. Once it has been rejected as confirmed by email, you go to the (confirm/edit travel) RED button and provide the new flight and ASQ details.
Thank you.
Hi good day,
I applied a COE first week of may it was rejected because of the insufficient travel insurance, now I’m trying to apply for a new COE am I still able to do that I have new travel insurance that the Thailand requires
Dear Job,
If it was rejected on the first stage of the application, you can just go to the edit personal information (yellow button) and supply the new information.
Thank you.
Hi good day,
What I’m gonna put on the types of permitted person in the COE. IF I apply for a transit visa.
Dear Jov,
There is TS category in the selection.
Thank you.
We can apply the visa with AHQ (hospital Q)?
Require any documents for AHQ?
Regards,
Dear May,
Good day.
Please check this page: http://hsscovid.com/
Thank you.
I have submitted COE on Friday (May 21) and they pre-approved the 1st one on Monday and 2nd was hasn’t approved. My flight is on May 30. Do I have to move my flight and hotel ASQ date and re-apply for COE again if they do not confirm it by tomorrow (Friday)?
Dear DK,
Good day.
You can still edit the second stage of the application. You can rectify the problem by going to the “CONFIRM/EDIT TRAVEL” (red button) on the COE website.
Thank you.
If I plan to enter Phuket July 1st, do I still need to apply for COE? The online system still states no less than 14 days quarantine with no mention of Phuket.
Thank you
Dear Jason,
Good day.
Yes, you still need to get a COE. The question right now is, will there be a separate COE application website for those arriving in Phuket? The answer is, we do not know just yet since the government has NO OFFICIAL guidelines at this time. We have to wait for the official guideline. If you apply for COE now, you need to upload ASQ Hotel so perhaps you can wait until there is final announcement.
Thank you.
Hello, I intend to arrive in Phuket on 23.7.21 until 28.7.21. I arrive by direct flight from Israel and will stay at the hotel with SHA approval. I’m vaccinated by Pfizer. The question is whether I need to get COE approval. Thanks
Dear Moshe,
Yes, you still need to get a COE. The question right now is, will there be a separate COE application website for those arriving in Phuket? The answer is, we do not know just yet since the government has NO OFFICIAL guidelines at this time.
Thank you.
Dear Sir
I’m wondering if you can opine on the reason to stay at an ASQ hotel if arriving in Phuket after July 1st, I’m fully vaccinated, and I’m from a visa-exempt country (U.S.)? I know you aren’t the decision maker however what is the need to stay in an ASQ hotel if the quarantine requirement is lifted for vaccinated travelers? Your opinion would be appreciated.
Dear Shelton,
Good day.
If you are fully vaccinated and you enter Phuket directly, without stopover in Bangkok, you do not need to quarantine. You just need to stay in an accredited hotels for 7 days. The reason for this? I believe to help the tourism on the island.
Thank you.
We are booked to travel at the end of September and will be fully vaccinated do we need to quaritine on arrival?
Dear Sarah,
Good day.
The government has not planned that far out. Right now, quarantine is required for all. In July, things might change but there is no official guidelines yet. I cannot advise you about it right now. Please check with us end of July or beginning of August.
Thank you.
Dear Sir,
My wife and children are Thai. They cannot apply for a new Thai passport before departure due to a long queue and long procedure. Thai embassy recommend them to apply a new one in Thailand. They have to use Belgian passport to enter Thailand this time. I would like to know if they still need to buy covid insurance to show as a reference during COE procedure.
Dear Stijn,
Good day.
Since they are applying for the COE as Belgian nationals and not Thai nationals, yes, they must have a COVID 19 insurance. The COE application for Thais is different portal, it is the blue portal. The application for the Non-Thai nationals (Belgian), is the green portal on the COE website.
Thank you.
Hello,
I am getting ready fly to Thailand on May 29th. I have been in the process of receiving my COE for two weeks now. I have been rejected several times because of minor errors. I have been preapproved several times as well but when I go to submit my paperwork for my ASQ and flight information and click save, it pops up with a message that says “Database Exception (#22001) An internal server error occurred.” I have contacted the embassy via phone and email with my issue and they end up rejecting my application all together and I have to start over. I am worried I will not get my COE on time. What should I do?
Dear Josie,
Good day.
I suggest for you to compress or adjust the size of the files. make sure you have a strong internet connect and you do not have multiple windows or tabs in your browser. Just try to upload the documents and make sure you click on the “upward arrow”.
Thank you.
What is the reason for making fully vaccinated people quarantine for 14 days even after all the PCR testing? Isnt that what Vaccines are for?????
Dear Jason,
Good day.
I am unable to answer that since we are not part of the decision-making group of the CCSA. Right now, CCSA required ALL travelers both Thai and foreigners to do the mandatory quarantine regardless if your are vaccinated or not.
Thank you.
Hi,
This is the first time i hear about SHA +, SHA withhout the plus exists for a while already. I would love to back home to Thailand (Phuket) in july. I can not find any SHA plus hotels…could you please let me know where i can a list of these hotels?
Dear Bob,
Good day.
Sorry, it is SHA-accredited hotels and tour operators can now provide you the information of the Phuket SandBox. I am not sure about the official guidelines for independent travelers.
Thank you.
Hello Rex,
I understand your position and i appreciate your efforts.
For the last 20 years i have observed that Thailand prefers to make things unnessacerally difficult and expensive for foreigners…last year, when the CoE was introduced it took me 5 months to make it back. I have old parents that need my attention, so travel is necessary…just hoped that the july phuket process, or Sand Box would be straightforward, so people like us can continu helping the local Thai people who suffer tremendously.
I have no idea what you mean with travelagencies will be able to assist? I do not need any agent, just a tranparent process…the Embassy claims there is no special Puket arrangement for Phuket finalised….??
Dear Bob,
There has been reports from a group of SHA-accredited Phuket tour operators with some guidelines. Again, it is not official guidelines. I will not be surprised if the first tourists to arrive on Phuket SandBox will be on tour groups, as you have seen on the STV (special tourist visa) last year, they were arranged by tour groups and then eventually the STV is available to independent tourists. We will see. Like I always, there is no official guideline and both the Embassy and COE website still requires for ASQ hotel booking.
Thank you.
Hi,
I plan to travel to Phuket in July. When are the travel authorities going to up date the rules and requirements to enter Phuket?
Dear Ron,
Good day.
The government plans to implement the Phuket SandBox in July. However, we do not know just yet what are the requirements since the government has NO OFFICIAL guidelines at this time. We have to wait for the official guideline. If you apply for COE now, you need to upload ASQ Hotel so perhaps you can wait until there is final announcement.
Thank you.

Hello, My son and friends have tickets to fly from Chicago to Bangkok at the end of July. They would like to go to Phuket under the Sandbox program. Can they fly into Bangkok and connect to a flight to Phuket without quarantine? They are all fully vaccinated and have US passports. Best regards, Michelle
Dear Michelle,
Good day.
In order to avail the Phuket SandBox program, you need to change your flight to Phuket. In the coming weeks, there will be added flights for Phuket flying direct from Doha and Singapore, so you may flight from ORD (Chicago) to DOH (Doha) then to HKT (Phuket).
Thank you.
I am fully vaccinated. Do I need to be quarantined for 14 days I have USA passport?
Dear Joseph,
Good day.
As of May 1, 2021, all travelers to Thailand, Thai nationals or US nationals are required to do a mandatory 14-day quarantine. It does not matter if the traveler has been vaccinated or not vaccinated. The quarantine is mandatory.
If you travel directly to Phuket in July, not transit in Bangkok, you may enter without quarantine as long as you stay in an SHA+ accredited hotel for at least 7 days.
Thank you.
I am wondering do I need a visa or which visa do I need if I am travelling to Thailand for a month’s work in client’s site? I am from Malaysia, and I understand that Malaysia is one of the countries under the “Visa Exemption List” for tourism purpose. Do I need to apply for Non-Immigrant B visa? Or can I apply for “Thai Elite Visa”?
Dear KW,
Good day.
You can use the 45-day Visa Exemption. You only need to go to the COE website and choose the category for 11 Medium Term Visitor- Visa Exemption. You need to have flight booking, ASQ Hotel and COVID 19 insurance.
Thank you.
Hi Sir,
How if flight is changed after COE is issued?
Dear Priya,
Good day.
Please refer to the REMARKS of your Certificate of Entry. if the change of flight was caused by cancelled flight or delayed flight, you can use the same COE as long as the new flight is within 72 hours. Other than that, you can call the Thai Embassy to re-issue a COE with new flight details.
Thank you.
Is it possible to apply for coe like 3 months in advance?i wish to get pre approved first before booking my flight and ASQ. I got rejected saying I need to apply 2 weeks before my flight. I think that’s too late and rather book it very early
Dear Robert,
Good day.
The process for the COE is quite fast right now so I do not need to worry about applying for COE 1 to 2 weeks before the trip. A lot could happen if you apply for COE now and the embassy does not want people to keep changing the details on the COE because of cancelled or changed of flights.
Thank you.
I am from USA, I am Just gonna stay there for 30 days with quarantine 45 days do I need a visa or I Just Need A COE and can enter there without visa.
Dear SKM,
Good day.
You can use the 45-day Visa Exemption. You only need to go to the COE website and choose the category for (11) Medium Term Visitor- Visa Exemption. You need to have flight booking, ASQ Hotel and COVID 19 insurance.
Thank you.
my understanding is after got COE, I need show a negative test to get on airplane and entry , does thailand Boarder Patrol and thai airways recognize Abbott BINAXNOW™ COVID-19 ANTIGEN SELF TEST?
Dear Keiwei,
Good day.
The requirement is RT-PCR COVID 19 test.
Thank you.
Dear Rex,
Thank you. My flight is on 16 June 2021. The airline cancelled the flight on 24 May 2021. Which email address do i have to write to cancel the COE to enable me to apply for a new COE? Please advise.
Dear Priya,
Depending which Thai Embassy or Consulate you applied for COE, they have different contact numbers or emails.
Thank you.
Hello,
I applied for COE 3 times. First 2 times was because I didn’t have bank statements and some of the information was incomplete. On my third attempt I thoroughly read the instructions and provided all information. Now on my 3rd attempt I got rejected again and said I need to apply 14 days prior to my flight. My plan date of travel is in mid August so about 3 months from now. Is it too early to apply for COE? I want to at-least get pre approved before booking my flights and ASQ reservation. I don’t want to get rejected again if I do it 14 days prior to my flight because I may not get refunded for travel expenses. Any help I’d greatly appreciate it.
Dear Robert,
Good day.
Yes, if you are applying for the COE based on Visa Exemption, I suggest you apply for the COE when you already have the flight booking, ASQ Hotel booking and COVID Insurance. The process is quite fast. It takes 2 to 15 days depending on your location.
Thank you.
Hello, starting July 1 is Phuket still going to allow vaccinated tourists from the US without requiring quarantine? If so any special procedures during transit from Bangkok? Thanks much for any info…
Dear Steven,
Good day.
At the moment, it is better if you can arrange a flight to Phuket directly. There has been plans for Bangkok transit passengers to be able to transfer to another flight using a specific terminal but that is just a plan. There’s also a plan for increased number of flights to Phuket from Singapore, Qatar and other major airline hubs. The best thing you can do right now, it patiently wait. Thailand is still struggling right now, so there is no crystal clear guidelines for the Phuket SandBox just yet.
Thank you.
I applied CoE and rejected because wrong date in ASQ. if I want to revise the new ASQ what should I do ? I’ve sent email to [email protected] yesterday but till now no respon..
Dear Megawati,
Good day.
You must call the Thai Embassy in Jakarta rather than sending them an email. You may also, go to the COE website and Edit your Personal Information if you are on stage 1 or you Edit the Travel Information if you are already in stage 2.
Thank you.
Hello Sir,
Has it been a determination for how long the 14 day quarantine will be required verses the 7 days quarantine for those who are vaccinated? I have an approved COA but at this time I am unable to do the 14 days quarantine.
Dear Greg,
Good day.
Since May 6th, it has been 14 days for all travellers, Thai or foreigners, vaccinated or unvaccinated. It is 14 days for everybody, children or adults.
Thank you.
Dear Rex,
Good morning from UK.
Thanks very much for much needed advise in manging the travel for many.
I depart UK on the 26th with transit on 27th via Singapore arriving in BKK on 27th. Due to the confusion that the transit flight date question was under my flight origin from UK I marked 26th as transit. CoE indicates depature 26th transit 26th and arrival 27th. Except transit all details including flight no are correct Q1-What do I do about this? Q2 My understanding is RT-PCR is needed within 72hrs from flight out of UK. Is it correct plaese. Many thanks Mark
Dear Mark,
Good day.
For the Q1, that is a minor mistake and it is common mistake, so it is alright. What is important is the date of departure and arrival and the correct flight number of the arriving flight. For the Q2, Yes, it is correct that the RT-PCR COVID test must be conducted within 72 hours before the international flight departing the country of origin.
Thank you.
