Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (TPC) announced in November 2024 that a new membership tier will be added to the Thailand Privilege Program: Bronze membership. This tier lacks the Privilege Points feature of the Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve tiers, but it costs less, making it the most affordable way to get a Thailand Elite Visa.
However, Thailand Privilege Bronze also comes with many of the same VIP travel privileges, special services, and exclusive deals and discounts that the other membership has, plus a 5-year Thai Elite Visa. This makes Bronze competitive with other long-term Thai visa solutions. Bronze bridges the gap between the low-cost, bare-bones visa and the luxury and convenience of a Thailand Elite Visa.
Interested parties should act fast though, as Bronze membership will only be available from December 15th, 2024 to June 30th, 2025. TPC may make this option permanent in the future, but this has not been confirmed.
Overview of the Thailand Privilege Bronze Membership
Here are the basic details for Bronze membership:

Much like the Thailand Privilege Gold membership, Bronze provides a Thailand Elite Visa that is valid for 5 years. It is a multiple-entry visa, meaning that members can come and go from Thailand with no restrictions and no need for a re-entry permit. Each time the holder enters Thailand, they are limited to a stay of 1 year, after which time the visa holder must leave Thailand and return to restart the stay period. Alternatively, members can apply for a 1-year extension at the Immigration Office.
Thailand Elite Visas at every membership level are still technically tourist visas, so there are a few things to keep in mind. First, work permits are not granted to Thailand Elite Visa holders, so work for a Thai company is not possible. However, there are no restrictions on remote work for foreign employers or clients.
Bronze members, like all Thailand Elite Visa holders, must report to Thai Immigration every 90-days. However, Bronze membership provides unlimited reporting assistance services to members at TPC’s Sathorn headquarters. Thai Elite Visa holders can drop off their 90-day reporting application and let the TPC staff do the rest.

Eligibility Requirements for Thailand Privilege Bronze Membership
Unlike other long-term Thai visas, there are no age, education, income, employment, marriage, or investment requirements to be eligible for a Thailand Privilege membership. You don’t have to gather proof of anything to qualify, all you need is to pass a background check handled by the Thai government.
However, there are a few basic requirements to get started applying for a Thailand Elite Visa and Bronze membership:
- All nationalities and passports are eligible, with the exception of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea).
- You must not have a record of serious visa overstay in Thailand.
- You must not have a record of criminal conviction, bankruptcy, or being declared mentally unfit.
- You must not ever have held a Thai volunteer visa.
- Your passport must have at least 1 year of remaining validity at the time of application.
How to Apply for a Thailand Privilege Bronze Membership

Thailand Privilege Bronze Application Process
- Step 1 – Gather Required Documentation:

- A Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) form
- A Membership Application Payment Form
- A recent passport photocopy (in color)
- A recent passport-size photo (in color, against a white background)
- Supplementary documents (as required, such as if the applicant is a previous/current holder of an ED Visa)
- Step 2 – Submit Application: Forward all required documents to a GSSA. They will review the application for completeness and accuracy to prevent delays or rejection.
- Step 3 – Background Check: Once the application is complete and submitted, the Thai government will perform a background check, which will take 4-6 weeks.
- Step 4 – Approval and Payment: Following a successful background check, you will receive an approval letter and a fee invoice. The membership must be paid through an approved method, which includes credit card, bank transfer, cash, Alipay, or cryptocurrency.
- Step 5 – Welcome Kit: After your payment is processed, you will receive a welcome letter and membership ID number within 10 business days.
- Step 6 – Visa Affixation: Lastly, you will affix the Thailand Elite Visa to your passport, which can be done at an immigration office, the airport upon arrival, or at a Thai embassy or consulate.
